Tulku Kasang

Tulku Kunsang and Tulku Kasang

In addition to the three Abbots of Dzogchen, there are numerous reincarnate lamas who continued different aspects of responsibilities in keeping the teaching and practice lineage continuous throughout the centuries. These include Kun-Druk-Ling-Sum, De-Kong-Nyi and so forth.

The Kun-Druk-Ling-Sum refers to three reincarnate lamas of Kunsang Tulkus, Drukpa Tulkus and Lingla Tulkus. Next to the three Abbots, these teachers have been instrumental to the continuation of Dzogchen Monastery. The De-Kong-Nyi refers to the line of tulkus which includes Khenpo Dega incarnations, who are the incarnations of Khenpo Pema Dorje, and Dzogchen Kongtrul, also vital to Dzogchen Monastery.

Tokden Tulku and Tulku Konchok

In addition to these lineages, Dzogchen Khyentse, Dzogchen Patrul, and many reincarnate lamas and Khenpos, retreat masters and accomplished yogis have all participated in making Dzogchen Monastery a major institution in the Nyingma Lineage.

Tulku Pegyal

There are many other famous teachers from Dzogchen, including Tulku Kasang, Drukpa Kuchung, Tokden Tulku, Tulku Pegyal, and Lingla Tulku. We will supplement this area with additional information on these teachers on an ongoing basis.
